13 October 2015 - Scaffolding on site ready for first floor walls and roof trusses
13 November 2015 - Timberframe erected and roof tiling nearing completion
3 November 2016 - The Old Smithy - 12 months after completion of the timberframe

The timber frame for this new home was install by SC4 Carpenters Ltd.

Home owners, Mr & Mrs Almond were delighted with the speed of the timberframe installation and are enjoying the benefits of a well insulated home.

The timber frame was ordered in May 2015 and delivered in late September 2015 once the foundations had been prepared by the client's groundworks team.

Just a few weeks later, the timber frame and roof structure had been erected and was watertight enabling other trades to start work.

This luxurious, energy efficient, 5 bed home was designed and built by SC4 Carpenters Ltd in an area of outstanding natural beauty of West Berkshire to accommodate 4 generations. It replaced a 1930s timber house to gain the benefit of modern conveniences for the 21st century.
