In December 2025, we were proud to announce starting this DM Habens (The Builder) Ltd Passivhaus project at Bunting Gardens, Portsmouth, for Portsmouth City Council. As specialist trade contractors, we are expertly executing the carpentry works for this landmark development.
Over the first few months of 2026, we will be carrying out the carpentry works for these three new 4-bedroom homes in Waterlooville, Hampshire, further expanding our commitment to local residential development. We are partnering with D M Habens (The Builder) Limited on these key projects.
Eco Sustainable timber-clad bungalow built in just 7 months
SC4 managed the turnkey build of this beautiful Eco Sustainable timber-clad bungalow, based on a variation of a Scottish long house, but with modern technology, for our clients in just 7 months.
The finished bungalow is a warm, efficient, bright, spacious and comfortable place to live. This home is all electric with multiple eco and sustainable features including air source heat pump (ASHP), solar photovoltaic panels (PV) and storage battery, and a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) system.
Timberframe Erect of 560+ houses and flats at North Stoneham Park, Eastleigh
In 15 months from March 2018 to August 2019, SC4 Carpenters Ltd erected 250+ timber frame houses and flats for timberframe manufacturer, Taylor Lane at Phases 1, 4 and 6 of this Highwood site in North Stoneham Park, Eastleigh. A further 100+ homes on Phases 4 and 7 were erected by SC4 in Autumn 2019-Spring 2020 and in Spring 21, SC4 started installation of a further 186 units.
