SC4 Supports Lovell Partnerships Charity Football Tournament

Teamwork on and off the pitch helped raise £14,000 for two deserving charities.

SC4 was proud to take part in the Lovell Partnerships Southern Charity 5-a-Side Football Tournament, joining clients, consultants and supply chain partners for a day that combined friendly competition with an important fundraising effort.

Hosted by Lovell Partnerships Southern in Southampton, the tournament was organised in support of Mountbatten Hospice and St Francis Animal Welfare, with the event held in memory of Ruby, whose story inspired everyone involved.

The day brought together businesses from across the construction industry, creating an opportunity to strengthen relationships while supporting two worthwhile causes. Alongside the football, participants contributed through donations, raffle ticket purchases, prize donations and an auction, helping to raise an impressive £14,000.

The tournament was won by Morgan Sindall, but the real success of the day was the collective effort of everyone involved. The atmosphere, sportsmanship and generosity demonstrated by all participants reflected the strong sense of community that exists across the construction industry.

For SC4, supporting events such as this is about more than taking part in a football tournament. It reflects our commitment to supporting our clients, strengthening partnerships and contributing to the communities in which we work.

Following the success of this year's event, Lovell Partnerships Southern has confirmed that the tournament will become an annual fundraiser, with the next event taking place on Friday 25 June 2027 in support of Brain Tumour Research.
