Congratulations and thank you to all our subcontractors who helped erect the timberframe for Taylor Lane at North Stoneham Park. From March 2018 to August 2019, SC4 erected 250 NEW BUILD houses and flats for timberframe manufacturer, Taylor Lane, at the Highwood site, North Stoneham Park. Throughout the project our team has overcome all the challenges without issues.

Movember 2019
SC4's Decorator, Stephen Norton, is growing his Moustache for this year's Movember campaign. He hopes to raise awareness of Mental Health issues in Construction. North Stoneham Park Nominated for Inside Housing Award
North Stoneham Park has been nominated for Best Development (100+) and Best Affordable Housing Development in construction at the Inside Housing Awards 2019. The 1100 dwelling scheme, which is currently under construction, enjoys a rich landscape network that ties through to the historic woodland beyond. A variety of house types, apartments and tenures integrate to form a series of defined character areas.
Diversity in Construction Ambassadors
SC4 are happy to announce, we will be sending two representatives, as Diversity in Construction Ambassadors, to the London Build Expo 2019. The session is free-to-attend for all and offers the chance for industry professionals to network and feel inspired. Learn from a panel of diversity champions discussing the the key issues and major developments within the UK's built environment.
How is gender stereotyping effecting our industry?
As an Ambassador for Women in Construction #WIC and Diversity in Construction #DIC, and as a Mental Health First Aider - #MHFA, I truly believe that if we are to attract women and people from diverse communities, or those with disabilities into Construction, Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths #STEM, as well as support those already in the industry struggling with prejudice, hidden and visible disabilities.

HRH THE DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE AND FOOTBALL LEGENDS CHAMPION MENTAL HEALTH ON EMIRATES FA CUP THIRD ROUND WEEKEND. Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters and the Heads Up campaign, a partnership between Heads Together and The FA, have teamed up to encourage football fans to take simple actions to look after their mental health.
SC4 win NEW contract with Highwood Group for 68 bed care home
SC4 Carpenters have won a NEW contract to provide carpentry services for a 68 bed care home in Hedge End for primary contractor, Highwood Group. We are excited to work alongside Highwood again, in what looks to be an exciting and interesting project. The two-storey care home will incorporate a brick and timber clad façade with large terraces on the first floor and two accommodation wings either side.
American Dyslexia Study
Results of an American Study identifies working as a Carpenter as one of the Top Jobs for a person with Dyslexia due to greater awareness of spatial relationships. Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it difficult to read and write words. Sometimes dyslexics transpose words or mix up numbers they are trying to read. This can lead to difficulty in the workplace.
Time To Talk Day 2020
#TimeToTalk Day 2020 , 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year, which is why talking about mental health is so important. Join SC4 start the conversation to end the stigma for those struggling with a mental health problem or crisis. Too often, mental health problems are treated as a taboo subject – something not to be talked about, especially at work.
Botleigh Grange awarded Certificate of Excellence
High-end 68-bed care home at the Botleigh Grange site in Hedge End has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from the Considerate Constructor's Scheme in recognition of Highwood's on-site compliance and consistent high build and operational standards. Poet's Meadow, Oakley
It's great to use drone video photography to see how a build is progressing from the air. We filmed this at Foreman Homes' site in Oakley in May 2021, where we are the carpentry and decorating contractors for 85 new homes.
Stunning Show Homes completed at Water's Edge, Mytchett
In March 2021, SC4 Decorators completed the wallpapering and decorating for Nicholas King's beautiful Show Homes on their Water's Edge site in Mytchett, near Camberley. SC4 is carrying out the contract decorating works for 248 new homes over 3 phases. The apartments overlooking the lake are underway and will be completed in April 2021.
Using Drone Videography on Site
SC4 Carpenters uses Drone Videography to showcase and review our progress on site. This often gets picked up and shared by our clients, helping them to promote their new homes to partners and potential homeowners. We took the first two videos in May 2021 at Foreman Homes' sites in Oakley and Selbourne, where we are carpentry and decorating contractors.
